Deleting Inactive Customers and Products

Is there a way to delete inactive customers? If not, is it possible to a set a default to sort with inactive accounts last?
Is it possible to delete inventory products no longer in use?

Both Customers and Products can be deleted through the Utilities module. Sign into Utilities (drop down from "Maintain Tables" or "System") and select "Misc" from the menu bar. The last item on the left says "PURGE: Customers/Vendors/Products/Invoices"; select this by landing on it or the round button. You will be asked for a password - call myself or Barb for that day's password. Then you will be prompted to enter C or V or P or I, depending on what you want to delete. For customers and products, it will bring up all those you have marked 'inactive'. You can click on any you want to keep in VS before clicking the "Save" button.

Does VS automatically retain the inventory_seq_num as short_descrption in order_ line_items after deleting old inventory?
